SUNDAY
PROGRAMS
March 6 – LIFE
EXPERIENCES All of us have
had some vivid life-changing experiences. Is
there a story you would like to share about a pivotal event in your life?
Lorna McClellan will moderate and lead this program
March 13 – THE
CHANGING SEASONS OF OUR LIVES Reverend
Ernie Pipes will present this
program about the aging process and the changes we go through.
Rev. Pipes was the longtime minister of the Santa Monica Unitarian
Church. Since he has “retired”, we
are grateful that he is available to speak to SBUF.
Bob Johnson will moderate.
March 20 – MEET SIMONE MAUD’HUI who will share some thoughts about the challenges facing us today and the power of the individual. The passion of Simone is to expose the Universal Oneness underlying the diversity of forms in our world. She works to build a synthesis among the religions, as well as between psychology and spirituality, and between science and religion. Penny Hendricks will moderate.
March 27 – HAPPINESS IS--------- Do you consider yourself happy? Is being happy genetic? What makes you happy? How do social connections affect your happiness? What do you think is the happiest job one could have? Can being happy be taught? Come and take inventory of your happiness. Maybe we could do the “happy dance” together. Penny Hendricks will present this program.

From the SBUF President: Just to say “thank you” to the people who handle the Opening and Closing of Mathews Cottage month after month. When you attend on a Sunday morning you may notice how everyone pitches in to help put away and clean up. The refreshments have been great, too. Thanks to everyone---your attendance and energy are appreciated.
