***************CALENDAR OF UPCOMING EVENTS*************

May 17 – A Memorial Service for Davis Miller will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 17th at Pacific Unitarian Church.  Dave was 94 years young, born in 1917.  Davis was an active guy,  and you may have sat next to him at the Unitarian Fellowship, usually with Gloria at his side.  You may have been beaten by Dave in a Chess game.  You may have enjoyed his art work or learned from him in the art classes he taught.  You may have walked with him on the strand or ridden your bicycle along side of him.  Perhaps you spent an evening playing scrabble at his home.  Davis was “one of a kind” and nobody could tell a joke or story like he did.  We loved him and we will miss him.  Please come and celebrate your memories.

May 25 – The Beach Cities Symphony  Friday night, Concert time is 8:15 p.m.  A Pre-concert lecture at 7:30 p.m.  Free Admission; Parking is $2.  Held at El Camino College, Marsee Auditorium, Redondo Beach Blvd. at Crenshaw, Torrance. See http://BeachCitiesSymphony.org for more information.
