Save us, our compassionate Lord, from our folly, by your wisdom, from our arrogance, by your forgiving love, from our greed by your infinite bounty, and from our insecurity by your healing power.        Muslim Prayer

                                               SUNDAY PROGRAMS

September 4 -  ON YOUR MIND OR IN THE NEWS     Penny Hendricks will lead the program which will allow you to bring up for discussion whatever concerns you may have.

September 11 –  SEPTEMBER 11  Today is the Anniversary of 9/11.  Focusing on that day was not what I wanted to do, but I believed it is important.  We all need to remember and to learn about things that happened behind the scenes.  Perhaps we can be more compassionate when we consider how other people, in other places may suffer and feel terrorized by what our armed forces may do.

September 18 -  AMERICAN UNITARIANISM    Come find out about our Unitarian roots. Although American government is nonsectarian, the truth is that our founding fathers were more “closet Unitarians” than Christians. Most did not subscribe to the Trinity, a defining feature of all Christians. We believe in one god, not three!  Come and hear this fascinating story and be prepared to share your thoughts.. Bob Johnson will moderate.

September 25 - – TRANSYLVANIA AND EASTERN EUROPE - PART 2   In April and May 2016, Peter Landecker visited this part of the world for a month, and will relate his experiences. He will share some visual images he took on this trip, which included a river cruise from Berlin to Prague on the Elbe. He visited Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. The culture in this area was significantly changed from 1935-2000.
