November 6 – DAKOTA ACCESS PIPELINE    Access was told by the federal government not to drill close to the Missouri River.  Well, guess where they’re drilling. Will the Obama administration step in? Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down (published November 2, 2016).

November 13 – NEUROPLASTICITY AND MINDFULNESS     How our brain changes with our experiences.  As Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor puts it “we can choose where we take our emotions, our thoughts and behaviors.”  Nothing is hardwired.  This ongoing process - and the results of two studies showing the benefits of mindfulness meditation - will be presented by Joy.

November 20 – TO BE GRATEFUL
