                                               SUNDAY PROGRAMS   

 

May 7 –  BILL MAHER Leads a Discussion.  This program leads with a one on one with Elizabeth Warren.  Followed by a panel discussion with Ernest Moniz, Rick Hanauer, Rob Reiner, Tara Setmayer.  Penny Hendricks is Moderator.

 

May 14 –  IT’S Mother’s DAY    Come and share who your mother was (or is) to  you! Penny will moderate.

 

May 21 –  PETER TRAVELS TO VIETNAM   Peter Landecker visited Vietnam for 18 days earlier this year and will relate his experiences about this very interesting country. He explored several areas from Hanoi in the north to the Mekong Delta in the south. He will illustrate his adventures with interesting and beautiful images and short videos.

 

May 28 –  WEAVING WORDS    Come to share a favorite poem, and your thoughts about what it expresses.  Share poems of others or your own poetry.  Come to listen and enjoy.  Lorna McClellan will lead this program.

 

June 4 – WHAT IS OUR PERSONAL RELIGIOUS HISTORY?  Claire will lead this program.

 *****ATTENTION: For Openers and Refreshment persons:  *********************

OPENERS arrive at 10:30, unlock doors, cabinet, put out signs, put on tablecloths, make the coffee, start water, set up cups, coffee, etc. for the refreshments.  Please display the fellowship candle on the circular table.  Place the Guest Book, name tags, and offering basket on the long table.

REFRESHMENTS need to arrive by 11:00 a.m.  Please arrange a trade if you cannot attend or clean up on the day assigned.  When you bring refreshments, it is your turn to be responsible for the clean up of the entire refreshment table including the coffee, water, tablecloths and supplies.  If you need help, just ask.

If you cannot bring refreshments on the date listed in the newsletter, you may call someone and trade with them for another date that will be more convenient for you.

How do I become a member of the South Bay Unitarian Fellowship?  Membership is open to all persons 15 years of age or older who sign a membership card expressing agreement with the purpose of the Fellowship.  Members become eligible to vote and hold office three months after signing membership cards.  Members are expected to participate in SBUF activities and to provide a helping hand and financial support when needed and are able to do so.  

 

SBUF Programs   If there is a particular topic you would like to see presented on a Sunday morning, or an organization you want to know more about, or a good book you would like to share, or any other ideas for Sunday morning programs, please call Penny Hendricks. Your input is valuable!  Thank you for your help.
