December 4 HOPE IS A WISH THE HEART MAKES   Thank you for being here and sharing your self as part of this fellowship.  


December 11 THE PROBLEM WITH DEMOCRACY IS PEOPLE   Today we welcome one of our favorite speakers, Unitarian Minister Jon Dobrer.  He has a way with words that enlightens and at the same time can be a bother.  Come and enjoy. 


December 18 GOING INSIDE WITH BONNIE    As a psychotherapist Bonnie has been teaching meditation to clients with a firm belief in the health benefits.  Bonnie will be instructing an introduction to meditation technics. 


December 25   WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS (and hope to see you next year!)


January 1 COME AND SHARE   We can talk about the year that was!

 *****ATTENTION: For Openers and Refreshment persons:  *********************

OPENERS arrive at 10:30, unlock doors, cabinet, put out signs, put on tablecloths, make the coffee, start water, set up cups, coffee, etc. for the refreshments.  Please display the fellowship candle on the circular table.  Place the Guest Book, name tags, and offering basket on the long table.

REFRESHMENTS need to arrive by 11:00 a.m.  Please arrange a trade if you cannot attend or clean up on the day assigned.  When you bring refreshments, it is your turn to be responsible for the clean up of the entire refreshment table including the coffee, water, tablecloths and supplies.  If you need help, just ask.

If you cannot bring refreshments on the date listed in the newsletter, you may call someone and trade with them for another date that will be more convenient for you.

Dec. 11 - Come and enjoy, Sing for Joy:  The Concert Singers



Dec. 31 - New Year's Party - At Claire Aukernan's home, starting after 8 pm, bring a snack or dish to share. Call Claire for more information. This is a great way to bring in the New Year and share this celebration.

Claire is ill *:-& sick  so the South Bay Unitarian Fellowship New Year Eve party has been cancelled for this year.

From UUA:  We covenant to affirm and promise a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. A goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.

How do I become a member of the South Bay Unitarian Fellowship?  Membership is open to all persons 15 years of age or older who sign a membership card expressing agreement with the purpose of the Fellowship.  Members become eligible to vote and hold office three months after signing membership cards.  Members are expected to participate in SBUF activities and to provide a helping hand and financial support when needed and are able to do so.  


SBUF Programs   If there is a particular topic you would like to see presented on a Sunday morning, or an organization you want to know more about, or a good book you would like to share, or any other ideas for Sunday morning programs, please call Penny Hendricks. Your input is valuable!  Thank you for your help.
