                                               SUNDAY PROGRAMS

November 5  WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND?.  OR … WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART? What keeps you from going back to sleep at 4 a.m.?  Am I the only one?  Can we talk about what knocks us off center?

November 12 –  WAR & CRIMES OF WAR.   UU Rev. Jon Dobrer returns to enlighten us and will try to make sense of what is going on again and again.  It is like we are attacking something, or everything, or  anything.  Penny Hendricks will moderate

November 19 – THE CONTINUING SPECTER:  How the concept of communism has terrorized the American political class.  This terror existed long before the 1917 Revolution.  Joe Marcin will present this program.

November 26 –   US HEALTH CARE  PART 1   "US Healthcare is Rigged Against You” – Our speaker will share why American Healthcare costs are so high.  The quote is from American Sickness-- How Healthcare has become a Big Business by Elizabeth Rosenthal MD, 2017.   The focus of US healthcare top players - Insurers, Hospitals, Pharma and more - seems a game, “how much money can be made?” A recent example is that of urine testing.  Medicare is being billed millions for unnecessary and expensive tests.  Why is this being done? Because it can - in the name of an Opioid epidemic.
