PROGRAMS
August 5 –REAL TIME WITH BILL MAYER Bill’s panel includes
Steve Schmidt, Kristen Soltis Anderson, and Charles Blow. Bill also does
an interview with Malcolm Nance an ex-U.S. Counterterrorism Intelligence
Officer. They discuss such things as the “deep state” and Putin.
Also, author of “Democracy in Chains”, Nancy MacLean, enters the discussion with
the panel. Penny will moderate.
August 12 –
REAL TIME WITH BILL MAYER Bill’s panel includes MSNBC Anchor
Lawrence O'Donnell; psychologist Steven Pinker; LA Times journalist Christina
Bellantoni; comic D. L. Hughley; Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.). Penny will
moderate.
August 19 – WHY ANTI-SEMITISM MATTERS. JON DOBRER is the
speaker today. Rev. Dobrer, a Starr King and Theological Union graduate,
served the UU Church in Fullerton from 1993-2014 retiring in June after 45 years
in the ministry. Jon continues teaching, doing columns for newsgroups,
newspapers and writing about our world with wit, insight and candor. We
welcome Jon again. Penny will moderate.
August 26 – PETER LANDECKER SHARES HIS FRENCH TRAVELS.

do I become a member of the South Bay Unitarian Fellowship?
Membership is open to all persons
15 years of age or older who
sign a membership card expressing agreement with the purpose of the Fellowship.
Members become eligible to vote and hold office three months after
signing membership cards. Members are expected to participate in SBUF activities and to
provide a helping hand and financial support when needed and are able to do so.
